Carretera Austral 2019

I'm from Temuco, and I went to Aysen on February 2019 for two weeks. I traveled with my family - mom and dad - by car, and on the first day we arrived to Argentina. We stayed in San Martin de los Andes and had dinner in front of the Lacar Lake. The next day we traveled to Bariloche to lunch, later we drove to El Bolson - a very tiny and hippie city -, we slept there and the day after we traveled to Chile.
In Chile, we camped on Futaleufu, a beautiful town surrounded by forest and a river. The next day we arrived to Puyuhuapi, and I think that place is smaller than a tiny town. We slept there 2 days in a cabain in front of the sea. I met 3 Palestinians and we drank mate on the pier. Next day, we went trekking in Queulat National Park to see the Ventisquero Colgante, a waterfall on a glacier. I loved to see so many Chucaos, a beautiful jumping bird.
After that, we went to Coyhaique, the largest city in Aysen, and we didn't like it because there was too many people and traffic, so we drove to Puerto Rio Tranquilo. The road was horrible, I mean, there was no road, just a dirt road. So we drove like for 5 hours from Coyhaique to Puerto Rio Tranquilo, but it was worth it. We camped again, and the next day we sailed to see the Marble Chapels, a beautiful landscape on General Carrera Lake, a lake that Chile shares with Argentina. In Puerto Rio Tranquilo I met an Argentinian who traveled with his dog, and we drank mate, and later I met some backpackers from Santiago and we had a small party.
The next day we went to Coyhaique again just to lunch and we drove to Puerto Aysen, another beautiful city, and we slept there. I loved Puerto Aysen! it was so quiet and full of trees that I would love to go again.
The next day we went to Chaiten and we bake some bread because there was no supermarket or any place to buy it. We stayed there one night and in the morning after we had to sail to Puerto Montt, our next and almost final destiny. We sailed for 8 or 9 hours and it was a beautiful view! but we hate Puerto Montt because its ugliness and also because is too boring. We ate some completos, that was the best part of Puerto Montt.
Finally, we drove to Temuco. I think that travel was probably my best holidays because I had fun with my family, we had never been there before and the landscapes were amazing. I loved the Chucaos and camping, and I love cold places especially in summer. I would love to go there again, but by plane because driving was exhausting.
